Featured Project // July 2024
Introducing July’s featured project from the 2024 Horner Wall Calendar: the Library at Bellevue House in Newport, Rhode Island. This project is a beautiful new addition to the historic Bellevue House, an early-twentieth-century estate renowned for its federal-revival architecture. Designed by Couture Design Associates of Providence, RI, and built by Parker Construction of Rumford, RI, the Library perfectly complements the original house and gardens.
Featuring Kolbe Windows & Doors // Horner Millwork proudly supplied the custom Kolbe Windows & Doors for the Library at Bellevue House. Selected by the architect to authentically replicate the historic details of the estate, these windows and doors seamlessly integrate with the Federal-revival style of the original Bellevue House while providing modern performance and efficiency.
Thank You // We extend our sincere gratitude to Couture Design Associates and Parker Construction for selecting Horner Millwork for this prestigious project. It is an honor to contribute to such a beautifully executed and historically respectful project, demonstrating the versatility and superior quality of Kolbe Windows & Doors.

The magnificent gardens surrounding Bellevue House are the subject of “The Adventures of a Narrative Gardener,” a book by Ronald Lee Fleming, the author and owner of the property.
