Everything old is new again – and if you keep up with interior design trends, you know that brass and glass hardware, lighting and faucets are hot right now. Since updating your hardware is the easiest way to keep your space looking contemporary and fresh, we’re sharing some inspiration photos from Emtek.

This beautiful beach house was the third annual Idea House built in partnership with This Old House. The brass hardware beautifully complements the blue cabinets and exterior doors. Take a virtual 3D tour of the home.

Similar to the Idea House, Katie Taylor’s DIY kitchen makeover also included Emtek’s Freestone cabinet pulls in Satin Brass. Paired with bright white cabinets and open shelving, the brass hardware adds a bit of luxury to this farmhouse style.

Blogger Julie Blanner shared her powder room renovation with Emtek glass knobs. Glass knobs were widely used in the early 1920s due to metal shortages during WW1 and continued through the Great Depression. Now restyled, they look modern and vintage at the same time.

In remodeling this kitchen, Greg Birman wasn’t afraid to mix cabinet hardware. The glass front doors use glass knobs, while the panel doors and drawers use brass knobs and pulls. Together with the modern gray finish, this kitchen is contemporary and inviting.

Emtek is pleased to welcome the new Mariposa and Bryce Levers! Reminiscent of the Bauhaus-inspired Stuttgart and Hercules levers currently offered in brass, Mariposa and Bryce can be paired with any of the 5 available rosettes, in any mix of our 3 Sandcast Bronze living finishes for a modern, yet patinaed look.
