In 2016 and 2017 we added many exciting upgrades to our Somerset manufacturing plant, including a 54,000 square foot building addition, a 4,250 panel solar array on the roof, a new control center for our shipping department, and a cutting-edge clean room for our growing Fortress Coating Systems™ prefinishing department. 

Here’s a little insight on the Fortress Coating Systems™ prefinishing process: First the doors, mouldings, stairparts, and cabinets are prepped by our craftsmen to make sure every surface is flawless. Then the product is moved into the clean room where the water-based primers, paints, stains, and clear coats are applied by our professional finishing team. Our two 22-foot wide spray booths can be used at full length or divided into four smaller booths. Next the Primeheat Infrared Curing system quickly cures each coating to a permanent and durable finish. Finally the products are moved into our packaging center where they are carefully prepared for delivery.
