ABOUT THE NEW AMERICAN REMODEL
The New American Remodel demonstrates the cutting-edge product innovations and techniques of today in contrast to those of the last century. The structure of the original home remained mostly unchanged, however existing rooms were reconfigured and opened to add more space. The home’s original architecture was strategically blended with the construction expansive new additions.

Phantom Motorized Retractable Screens
The project added a grand indoor/outdoor great room featuring six large Phantom motorized retractable screens. The automated Phantom screens allow the indoor and outdoor spaces to become one while also providing fresh air, shade from the sun, climate control, protection from insects, or a bit of privacy. Whether open or closed, the screens allow for long, uninterrupted views of the pool area and back gardens.

TruStile Interior Doors
Throughout the home the design team chose TruStile’s 3-panel TS3000 door for the base style. The material, profile, and application of the doors were then configured for each opening. Paint-grade MDF was used throughout the home, while walnut doors with a Cappuccino stain were specified for specialty openings. Many of the doors have panels replaced with either glass or a material insert to accent the space they were designed into.
A bonus room is adorned with elegant walnut doors with Edelman® Croc Nuts leather panels.
A pair of MDF doors feature Narrow Reed glass.
